China Die & Mould Industry Association (CDMIA) was founded in October 1984. CDMIA is a social organization with the status of a legal person, which has been approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, under the guidance of the Society Work Department of the CPC Central Committee and the industry management department is the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China.
The missions of CDMIA are to serve its members, die and mould industry and government; to protect the legal rights and interests of its members as well as the State; to promote technological progress and sound development of China’s die and mould industry; to function as a bridge between die and mould enterprises and government. By making continuous efforts and staying true to the founding missions, CDMIA has made significant contributions to the development of China’s die and mould industry for more than three decades.
CDMIA is a nationwide, industry-based and non-profit social organization with 1300 voluntary group members, mainly consisting of die and mould manufacturing companies, relevant industry enterprises, research institutes, universities & colleges and the regional die and mould associations all across China. CDMIA has Advisory Committee and Board of Directors. The supreme body of CDMIA power is the Membership Representative Conference. And the Board of Directors and Standing Committee of B.O.D exercise the leadership function when the Conference is not in session. The standing working body of CDMIA is its Secretariat.
CDMIA has 16 specialized working committees and its subsidiary Beijing Zhongmu Consulting Dept. CDMIA publishes two monthly magazines, DIE & MOULD INDUSTRY and CHINA DIE & MOULD INFORMATION. The official website of CDMIA is www.chothuetro.com.
CDMIA is one of the founding members of FADMA, and takes charge of the FADMA Standards Working Committee. CDMIA is the Vice President of ISTMA and has developed strong relationships with die and mould industries worldwide.
